Square Butte Trading Post is a 100% Indian Women owned compnay, founded in 2007, that provides services and sales in Native American custom designed wear, jewelry, moccasins, t-shirts, dancing outfits, breastplates, buckskin dresses, and one of a kind, unique, Native American Indian made items.

Our target population is Indian owned casino gifts stores, tourists, international customers, rodeo and powwow participants. Our products are authentic, quality, native made unique items. We take custom made orders.

Square Butte Trading Post is co-owned and operated by two sisters who are enrolled members of the Chippewa Cree tribe from Rocky Boy, Montana. Both individuals have extensive experience in business, designing; making; selling; and buying Native American (Indian) made clothing, jewelry, and gift items.

As General manager, Luanne is responsible for the overall management of the compnay, including marketing, public relations, and seeking capital.
Elsie, as On-site Manager, is responsible for financial management, filling orders, and on-site office management.
Brian's responsibilities as Webmaster include the maintenance and upkeep of the Square Butte Trading Post website.
Jamie Gonzales will be working on writing reports and updating our financal records, utilizing Quik-In software.
Sable Little Sun will be working on updating SBTP correspondence and linking SBTP to various busineess and other Native American organizations.
Dawn Houle, who lives in Seattle, and is currently working with a New York client who is interested in having our company make necklaces. She is also working with the Seattle-Perugia Sister City Association on purchases that will be sold in Italy.

Square Butte Trading Post products include but are not limited to, buckskin made clothing, Native American made crafts, Native dance outfits, shawls, ribbon shirts, moccasins, jewelry, and other hard to find items, such as back rests and cradle boards.

The Company Plans to develop into the Leading Native American clothing and craft items in the state. This means always have the best and highest quality made clothing, crafts, and gift items. To achieve this, Square Butte Trading Post will invest in ways that will pay off in competitive advantages for it customers, usch as quality items, one of a kind, unique items custom made clothing, fast and efficient shipment of orders, and a full line of products. The company has developed a client evaluation form to gather feedback from our clients. The ultimate goal is to meet these needs and better the compnay.

The biggest concern within the Native american clothing industry is finding clothing and items that are made by Native American Indians that are authentic, and that reflect tribal arts and design. Square Butte Trading Post recognizes that meeting the customers' needs is of critical importance to maintainning good customer relationships.

Square Butte Trading Post's marketing strategies include attending major trade and economic conferences, marketing our products using the internet, marketing our products to Indian owned casino's gift shops, appealing to the international European travelers who are looking for something unique and quality made that reflects Native american design and culture.
